They give us so much and ask for so little!

Some years back, I adopted my first sled dog and fell in love with the breed. A few years later I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the sport of mushing. Then I was invited to take a team of 10 dogs to Nome on the 2007 Serum Run. After that, I was hooked on the dogs and the sport. All of a sudden my kennel grew from two

adopted sled dogs in 2007 to a total of 19 now.

When I'm not with the dogs, I design, remodel and build custom homes in Cooper Landing, AK. I also rent out two vacation homes during the summer and enjoy introducing my guest to the dogs. I enjoy camping, hiking and travel - although of late, travel usually is by dog team.

Once again I look forward to doing this trip and camping with my dogs.
